During this
term 4E have been using a website called Fresh Grades. This site allows
students and teachers to document and communicate assessment results and
learning progress for all subject areas. Not only can students’ scores be
uploaded to Fresh Grades but samples of their work. Students are encouraged
to reflect and comment on their learning so they know what to do to improve.
Fresh
Grades allows parents to see their child’s work and make comments if desired. Next
term I will arrange access for you to view your child’s portfolio of work. This
access will come in the form of an email and link to the website. No-one else
will be able to access your child’s portfolio except you, myself and your
child.
