Congratulations to Josh, Allegra and Odelia for gaining the Christian Discovery award at our Primary assembly this week.

Salvador Dali

Today we learned about Salvador Dali and how he used images from his imagination to create his art work. Using Dali's picture "The Elephants" we created our own animals and changed some of their characteristics to make them look unusual. Take a look at some of our work.

Art

For the last few weeks we have been creating a treasure map of our favourite memories. We were able to make them look old like a real treasure map by colouring them with tea bags and singeing the edges.

Geography

We have finished our Geography projects. Take a look at how some of 4E have shown their knowledge and represented Australia in a variety of ways.

4E having been working on a project to showcase Australia to the world. Stay tuned for some of our finished presentations.

Art

4E have been busy with our art work. Last week we made trees using our hand outline. We tried to make it three dimensional by using curved lines.

Today we made an art work based on a book we were reading about memories. Students had to represent various memories important to them. 

We have had a great start to the year. 4E are excited about their learning and all the activities we have been doing. Stay tuned to the blog to see what we are up to.

Swimming Carnival

We had a fabulous day today at the Swimming Carnival. I was so proud watching students in 4E trying their hardest to swim that long 50 metres. Well done everyone.
