4E had a fabulous day yesterday learning about Remembrance. We looked at symbols at the War Memorial that remind us of the sacrifice of war. A walk around Hyde Park revealed lots of monuments that reminded us of people and events from the past.
Stage 2 are to be congratulated on their wonderful behaviour. The tour guide said they were one of the best groups he has had in 8 years of leading tours. A big thanks to all the Stage 2 parents who helped out on the day.

Currans Hill Excursion
We had a fabulous time today spending the whole day working on a variety of Science activities. Our walk around Currans Hill showed us what facilities are in our community and what they are used for. We tried to plot our route on a map and follow it on Google Earth. The culmination of our Science unit will be when we redesign our community.

Camden Show
We had a fabulous day today at the Camden Show. We saw lots of animals and were shown how wheat becomes flour. I think 4E's favourite event was the Lumberjack. He gave us all a shock when he jumped off the 20 metre pole.Thank you to all the parents who came along to help.
Award
Congratulations to Josh, Allegra and Odelia for gaining the Christian Discovery award at our Primary assembly this week.

Salvador Dali
Today we learned about Salvador Dali and how he used images from his imagination to create his art work. Using Dali's picture "The Elephants" we created our own animals and changed some of their characteristics to make them look unusual. Take a look at some of our work.

Art
For the last few weeks we have been creating a treasure map of our favourite memories. We were able to make them look old like a real treasure map by colouring them with tea bags and singeing the edges.
Geography
We have finished our Geography projects. Take a look at how some of 4E have shown their knowledge and represented Australia in a variety of ways.
